In this 2-hour applied acting workshop participants will go through a number of actor-to-actor exercise that specifically nurture presence, being in the moment, and raising a person’s sensitivity and awareness to the dynamic of sending and receiving. Being in the present moment and learning how ‘not to act’ is an important thing actors strive to bring to their characters and performances. It is the equivalent of what non-actors in everyday life yearn for in wanting to live truthfully in the moment, for one’s self and towards others. 

Although there will be some light exploration of character/characteristics, participants can enjoy the benefits of the workshop exploring these acting techniques close to home.
